  • HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR ART
HOW TO CARE FOR OIL PAINTINGS: ★ When directly handling your piece, hold it by the edges/frame, avoiding contact with your fingers on the surface. ★ Moisture can destroy a painting and its frame, so store your paintings carefully. If you are storing the painting in a room, store in a dry room wrapped in tissue paper. Make sure the painting has air circulation ★ Dust your painting a few times a year with a natural-haired artist's brush. Do not use water, spays or cleaners. Do not use feather dusters or rough cloths to prevent scratching on the surface ★ Keep your painting out of direct sunlight and heat. Exposing your paintings to heat could create cracking and blistering ★ Resin paintings can be cleaned with ammonia-free windex sprayed on paper towel or a soft cloth ★ Prevent extended exposure to ultraviolet light HOW TO CARE FOR ART PRINTS: ★ The best way to care for fine art prints and posters is by keeping them out of direct sunlight and away from moisture. This will help to prevent the colors from fading over time ★ Avoid hanging them in areas with dust or pollen, as this can cause the prints to become dirty ★ The best way to store fine art prints is by wrapping them in acid-free paper and placing them in a box or container that can be sealed
